Maxview HD transport technology streamlines operating room system design and simplifies installation by integrating all video cables into a single CAT5-type wire. Maxview delivers the full-range of video including true HD. Maxview solutions can even handle sophisticated rooms with an array of AV sources, multiple computer inputs and several input locations. These rooms may feature multiple displays including plasmas, surgical displays, PACS displays, and monitors with sound reinforcement and program audio outputs. Maxview supports cable lengths up to 450 feet. Maxview supports VGA (HD-15), DVI-D (through conversion), Composite, and S-video. Architecture The Maxview HD features up to 16 input sources. Input sources are located in double gang wall boxes centrally located allowing for easy and flexible system configuration with the ability to make changes to the system as needs change. A complete range AV signal types are supported. The outputs on the Maxview HD are configured to feed up to 16 receivers using either Maxview HD cable (1 cat5e and 1 16/4 siamesed together). Maxview HD cable allows for cable lengths up to 450 feet using copper. Mounted at the projector or plasma display location, the Maxview receiver breaks out composite video, S-Video, and RGBHV signals to feed the respective inputs on the display device. All signal routing occurs automatically under the command of the control system based upon the input source type selected. The transport system supports the transmission of RGB signals with resolutions up to 1920 X 1200 pixels at 60Hz. Software-controllable frequency, bandwidth, and skew compensation adjustments are provided to maximize image quality over cable runs up to 450 feet long with up to 22 nS of delay skew. Each Maxview Receiver includes one bidirectional RS-232 port and one IR/Serial port for control of the display device. A digital input port is also included to enable direct connection of a room occupancy sensor, power sensor, or any contact closure device. Compatibility Maxview HD currently supports surgical equipment from all major manufacturers. Even supporting controls sent from other manufacturers scope/cameras for start stop recording. |

Maxview Modular HD Switchers provide the foundation for a complete Digital O.R integrated system, delivering an advanced, true high-definition multi-room AV signal routing solution that's extremely flexible and scalable. The Maxview Digital HD affords low-latency switching and pure, lossless distribution of HD-SDI, HDMI/DVI, and all analog sources to support the latest Surgical Devices, Surgical Displays, Video Conferencing units, and all your other AV devices in the operating room. Modular ArchitectureThe Maxview Modular HD Series of multi-plane matrix switchers combines multiple, independent analog and digital matrix switchers in a truly modular, field-configurable system. The Maxview Modular HD system is capable of supporting up to 10 separate matrix boards which can be switched independently or simultaneously, all under a single point of control. The Maxview Modular HD has the proven reliability of independent switchers with the efficiency of a modular matrix switcher design. The Maxview Modular HD System is an ideal choice for medical imaging systems, conference and training facilities, and other mid-sized applications that require the switching of different signal types and a cost-effective upgrade path for ongoing I/O or signal format changes. Switching planes can be grouped together to make a single, virtual switching plane. Plane grouping allows several signal planes to act as a single unit with a single control command affecting all planes. The Maxview Modular HD uses all “home” run cabling and uses standard cable types including HD-SDI, DVI-D, HD-15 (VGA-UXGA), S-video, Composite and RGBHV/RGBs. Compatibility
Internal universal power supply — The 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, international power supply provides worldwide power compatibility. Maxview Digital HD currently supports surgical equipment from all major manufacturers. Even supporting controls sent from other manufacturers scope/cameras for start stop recording. |
